EFCC Arraigns Four Company Staffs For $500,000 Fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), yesterday arraigned four staff of First Marina Trust Limited before Justice J. E. Oyefeso of the Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikeja on a two-count charge bordering on conspiracy and stealing to the tune of USD $500,000 (Five Hundred Thousand United State Dollars). The accused identified as Adeyemi Oluwaseun, Suleiman Yusuf, Yusuf Imran Adekunle and Haruna ssah-allegedly agreed to defraud their employers of the sum of money. After arraignment and plea for bail, Justice Oyefeso, however, ordered the defendants to be remanded in Ikoyi prison pending the hearing of the bail applications by the defence counsels.

Decomposing Body Of UNIOSUN Student’s Found Near Alfa’s House

The decomposing body of a 400 level student of the Osun state University, who was reported missing 9 days ago, has been found.. According to PUNCH, the student’s corpse was found almost decomposed in a bush near a certain Muslim cleric’s (Alfa) house. Some students residing near the Jafaria street told PUNCH correspondent who visited the bush that the Alfa, who was arrested in connection with the student’s disappearance showed the policemen the place where the corpse was dumped. Some friends of the deceased were unable to hold their tears as they perceived the stench from the body which they recognised as their friend.. The commissioner of police, Mr Fimihian Adeoye, who was contacted on the phone, couldn’t speak because he was in a meeting. But the Deputy co-ordinator of the National Association of Nigerian students in south west, Saheed Afolabi confirmed the development to the correspondent.

Bald Men Now In Danger As Witches Target Them For Rituals… See Details

A new report has indicated that men with bald head are currently in danger as witches are hunting them down for rituals. According to a shocking report by BBC Africa, the operatives of the Police in Mozambique’s Zambezia province, reportedly moved to beef up their operation “to crack down on increased murders of bald men”. While speaking to correspondent, Miguiel Caestano, who is the Zambezia police spokesperson said the plan was to focus on the people behind the killings. “The main criminals are people from neighbouring countries, chiefly Malawi, Tanzania and the Great Lakes region,” Caestano was quoted as saying. Reports in June indicated that two bald men aged over 40 were killed in Milange, in the centre of the southern African country, a few kilometres from the border with Malawi.
